I am a graduate student at Purdue University and a co-organizer of Topolodays (topology graduate student seminar).
I am interested in the cohomology of General Linear Groups, specifically the symplectic group and its subgroups. Using Borel-Serre duality, I use the combinatorial properties of the symplectic Tits building and the algebraic properties of symplectic Steinberg modules to compute the cohomology of symplectic group and its congruence subgroups.
I earned a BS in Mathematics and a BA minor in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University in May 2019.
I am originally from Cuernavaca, Mexico.
