Fabio Capovilla-Searle

I am a graduate student at Purdue University. 

I am interested in the cohomology of General Linear Groups, specifically the Symplectic group and its subgroups. Using Borel-Serre duality, I use the combinatorial properties of the Symplectic Tits building and the algebraic properties of Symplectic Steinberg modules to compute the cohomology of the Symplectic group and its congruence subgroups.

I earned a BS in Mathematics and a BA minor in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University in May 2019.
